Released: Linux 2.4.2

Linux 2.4.2 has been released by linus, and has included another sync-up with Alan grab the changelog a few interesting corruption fixes, and some misc reiserfs fixes.. you can get the patch or tarball.Update: If you're having problems compiling, so if youre running Debian Sid, or the very latest binutils, change "-oformat to --oformat" in arch/i386/boot/Makefile.

OS-X running XFree and Windowmaker

Ulrich Rueckert has been hacking XFree to enable running X windows right beside Aqua windows, without the need to switch between a MacOS X and a X Windows mode. The whole thing is far from being finished, there are still a lot of bugs and quirks. Here is a couple of screenshots, here and here. The project homepage can be found here

Well its here, not much of break since it was only 3 weeks since WM 0.63.1 was released, this Release covers many bug fixes grab the latest tarball here.

Cleaned up the code a wee bit, but it may need re-doing from scratch in a nice plain text editor.. apps like netscape and frontpage tend to make their own standards, that conform to their browsers :P
